Synergy of Materiality

For a while I have been fascinated by combining fashion photography with the industrial. Seeing what we believe to be human be contrasted with rough materials that we mostly see during construction or renovation. I believe there is something beautiful in those fields that we have developed a great distance with. The flow of plastic film is something that amazes me in a material that sounds so robust in its description. Opening it up it seems as gentle as a cloud and something that is longing to be touched and experienced. This series of images is looking reflect on those ideas, depicting surreal relations between material and human life. The relations that can appear to be rather unsettling at some points reflect on the unsafe expectations of industrial productions; why it is so distanced from modern life.
